Sounds like a job for Luigi!
The magical Dark Moon that hangs over Evershade Valley seems to calm the ghosts that live there. But when it suddenly breaks apart, the once-friendly ghosts become unruly! Luigi must stumble into action and find his courage to restore the Dark Moon to its rightful place in the sky.

HOW TO PLAY

PICK THE MISSION
Follow leads across a neighborhood of haunted mansions to find the missing shards of the Dark Moon. With a little help from Professor E. Gadd, you can pixelate from his bunker to your destination and get started! (Luigi will…probably be OK on the other side.)

SOLVE PUZZLE-Y MANSIONS
Each mansion has a distinct vibe and tricky puzzles to solve. You’ll have to use your noodle to find your way through.

BATTLE GHOSTS
Eek! They’re everywhere! Stun ‘em and suck ‘em up to defeat them.

DISCOVER TREASURES
Use the awesome air-blasting abilities of the Poltergust 5000 to turn every room upside down and build your fortune. Spend it on equipment upgrades and stuff!

WELCOME TO EVERSHADE VALLEY (BWA-HA-HA!)

Explore every nook and cranny of these haunted mansions to find the Dark Moon shards.

GLOOMY MANOR
The first stop on Luigi’s haunted-house tour. Professor E. Gadd had been observing the ghosts living in Gloomy Manor when, suddenly, the Dark Moon broke into pieces.

HAUNTED TOWERS
These remarkable towers are built around a colossal tree. The original owners had a liking for gardening and exotic plants, which are now growing out of control.

OLD CLOCKWORKS
This factory once produced the world’s finest clocks and time-measurement devices. Readings indicate a Dark Moon shard rests at the top of the Clock Tower.

SECRET MINE
Some determined geologists started a mining operation in these snowcapped mountains. But when the ghosts started moving in, they got scared and abandoned it.

GEAR UP

Use your superpowered ghost-hunting tools to explore the mansions of Evershade Valley.

POLTERGUST 5000
An upgradeable ghost gobbler. Its suction and air-blasting functions are useful for more than just paranormal combat, too. Use it to solve puzzles, find treasures, and move things around!

STROBULB
This charge-up light attachment for the Poltergust 5000 is perfect for stunning ghosts.

DARK-LIGHT DEVICE
Shed some light on mysterious hidden objects and make them reappear.

DUAL SCREAM
A device with two screens(?!) that works as a handy map and a communication device.

Get to know the players in this ghoulishly fun adventure.

LUIGI
Our reluctant hero, recruited by Professor E. Gadd. Even though the whole “ghost” thing freaks him out, you can count on Luigi to bravely…well, stumble his way forward to do the right thing.

PROFESSOR E. GADD
An eccentric ghost researcher and inventor. He sometimes has a funny way of showing how much he cares about Luigi.

POLTERPUP
Come here, doggy! This playful ball of ectoplasma has a habit of running off with important stuff.

TOADS
These helpful fellas are working with Professor E. Gadd across the valley. But when the Dark Moon shatters, he loses contact with them…

GHOSTS
Some are silly, some are scary. Battle it out with Greenies, Slammers, Hiders, Gobbers, Poltergeists, Creepers, Sneakers, and more as you explore!

TACKLE THE SCARESCRAPER TOGETHER

Team up as a legion of Luigis to take on the challenging ScareScraper! This place is teeming with ghosts and challenges not found in the main adventure. Recruit up to three other ghost hunters to scale the terrifying tower locally* or online**!

HUNTER
Work together to defeat all the ghosts on each floor.

POLTERPUP
Use the Dark-Light Device to catch all the Polterpups within the time limit-even the big ones!

RUSH
Find the exit before you run out of time. Luckily for Luigi, defeating ghosts and searching objects can extend the time limit.
