Steps to Set Up the Ryujinx Emulator for Playing Nintendo Switch Games on Your PC
1. Download Games (NSP, XCI ROMs)
To begin playing the game you wish, you will first need to download its ROM file. All Nintendo Switch emulators supports games in NSP/XCI format, and you can easily get the ROMs from the link provided below.
2. Set up Ryujinx Emulator
Now that we have the game’s ROM (NSP or XCI) file, we can continue with the detailed instructions on setting up and running Nintendo Switch Games on the Ryujinx emulator using the game’s ROM file (NSP or XCI).
Step 1: Download and extract the Ryujinx Emulator file from the button provided below.
Step 2: After extraction, run the “Ryujinx.exe” file by double-clicking on it.
Step 3: When you get the emulator running, you may encounter the “RYU-0001 Keys not found” error. Don’t worry, everything’s okay because we’ve got a useful guide on how to add the “prod.keys.” Just click on the link below to see it.
Step 4: After that you will have prod.keys and the problem will be fixed. Follow the instructions in the guide for adding the Nintendo Switch firmware next.
3. Add Firmware
To play Nintendo Switch games on the emulator, you need something called firmware. This firmware includes important stuff like the operating system and files needed for the games to work. If you don’t have this firmware, the games won’t run because the emulator can’t copy the environment of the Switch.
Here’s how you can add the firmware:
Step 1: Download the latest Firmware.zip file from the button provided below.
Step 2: Launch Ryujinx emulator by double-clicking on the “Ryujinx.exe” file.

Step 4: After selecting the game folder, all the games available in that folder will appear on your main screen. In my case, “Xenoblade Chronicles 3” is appearing.
